Lalitpur, September 14 Nepal’s Aadit Subedi, Aryan Giri and Samyak Bajracharya entered the boys’ semi-finals of the Kesha Group ANLTA-Asian Junior Tour U-14 Circuit-II Tournament here at Satdobato Tennis Complex today. In boys’ singles quarter-finals, Subedi registered a 7-5, 6-2 win against Indian opponent Shrikant Thakur, while Giri beat Saharsha Chand 6-4, 1-6, 6-2. In another all-Nepal match, Bajracharya comfortably saw off Grijesh Man Shrestha 6-1, 6-0. Arnav Pathange of India also booked a place in the last four beating Evyak Joshi of Nepal 6-0, 6-0. In all-Nepal matches of girls’ category, Ira Mehernissa Rawat edged past Sneha Yadav 6-0, 6-0, Saloni Tamang earned a 7-6, 6-1 victory against Alasha Regmi. Abhilasha Bista saw off Isha Shree Shah 6-1, 6-4, Prerana Koirala recorded a hard-fought 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory against Lakshanya Vishwanath of India to book places in the last fours. In boys’ doubles, the pair of Saharsha Chand and Aadit Subedi recorded a convincing 6-2, 6-2 win against the Indian pair of Sashikant Thakur and Shrikant Thakur to enter the final. Also, the pair of Ambitious Goldsmith and Arnav Pathange of India beat the pair of Evyak Joshi and Samragya Katawal of Nepal 6-0, 6-0. Likewise, the pair of Abhilasha Bista and Ira Mehernissa Rawat will play against the pair of Prerana Koirala (Nepal) and Lakshanya Vishwanath (India) in girls’ doubles final. The pair of Bista and Rawat registered a 6-1, 6-0 against Alsha Regmi and Saloni Tamang, while the duo of Koirala and Vishwanath beat Isha Shree Shah and Rayana Shah of Nepal 6-0, 6-0.
