Dhangadi, October 6 People returning home to hilly districts of the far-west region for Dashain are facing acute crunch of bus tickets. Many people bound for their homes are stranded in Dhangadhi and Attariya in Kailali and Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur. With only a limited number of buses directly linking the hilly districts in the region to the Capital and other destinations, many people buy tickets to Dhangadi and Attariya where they board another bus to their destinations. Those returning home from India need to board buses from Mahendranagar, Dhangadi and Attariya. Govind Rokaya from Bajhang has been stranded in Kailali for the past few days. “I have been frequenting Dhangadhi bus park but there isn’t a single ticket available,” said Rokaya.
