BHOJPUR: A toddler drowned in a pond used for pisciculture in Morang district on Friday. The two-year-old son of Ramesh Bishwokarma, Rasav, accidentally fell into the fish pond near his home in Amardaha-5 of Morang district, informed the Biratnagar-based Eastern Regional Police Office. Locals who found the baby had rushed him to the Pathari Hospital for treatment. However, he breathed his last during the treatment in the Hospital, police said. Further investigation is underway, police added.
