KATHMANDU: Nepalis celebrating their greatest festival Dashain continued receiving Tika, Prasad and blessings from their family members and relatives on Wednesday as well. Though the Vijaya Dashami as the biggest day of the 15-day festival was marked across the nation on Tuesday, the Tika receiving continues till the day of full moon, which is coming Saturday this year, as per the traditions. However, some communities offer and receive Tika on the day of Vijaya Dashami only. Meanwhile, Kathmandu, which had a deserted look as over 2.2 million people had left the City for the Dashain celebrations, is gradually returning to its normal life. Most of the government and private offices, however, are closed till Thursday.
