BHOJPUR: A man drowned while performing the Chhath puja in a pond in Biratnagar of Morang district on Monday. Sagar Rai (50) of Biratnagar-20 had died while he was taking bath in a pond at Bangkok Road of Biratnagar-19, informed the Biratnagar-based Eastern Regional Police Office. Locals along with police had searched for Rai long after he had disappeared in the pond before they had found his body.
