BHADRAPUR: Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said that there would be no any difficulty in holding local polls once an agreement at the political level was reached in this regard. Addressing a programme organised by the Election Commission in Chitwan on Friday, Yadav stated that fixing the date for the elections and formulating policy to that end were also integral parts of the consensus. Similarly,he argued that elections at the three levels - local, provincial and federal - could not take place at the same time. Meanwhile, Yadav said, 'The Commission is making efforts to ensure voting rights of Nepali people living abroad.' On the occasion, Chief District Officer Dambaru Prasad Niraula said the Commission should be mindful of holding the elections in a free and fair manner. READ ALSO:
