Hetauda, December 11 Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi today said the country’s future was associated with Hetauda Cement Industry. Speaking at a special function organised to mark the 31st anniversary of the industry, Minister Joshi said, “Hetauda Cement Industry is not just a factory as the nation depends on its future.” Stating that Hetauda Cement Industry was established with state investment, he said the products of the industry should be of superior quality in comparison to the products of other private companies. Minister Joshi said, “Hence, we expect all staffers of the industry to have a feeling of ownership and contribute to its betterment.” He said the state-owned industry, however, was failing to compete with private companies. Minister Joshi claimed that the government was working to inspire all young foreign employment aspirants to work in the country in a decade. “As the government is all set to resume closed industries, including Hetauda Textile Company and Birgunj Sugar Industry in the near future, hundreds of youths will have employment opportunities within the country,” he added. Speaking at the function, General Manager of the industry Prem Shankar Singh said they could increase the production capacity if they were provided enough power supply.
