Nepal face another defeat in Delhi

KATHMANDU: Nepal faced second consecutive defeat going down by 59 runs against Bangladesh in the second T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for Blinds in Delhi, India on Wednesday. Batting first, Bangladesh scored a mammoth total of 203-2. Md Mohsin Hosen Joy scored an unbeaten 70-ball 88 and Md Abdul Malek hit 83 off 54. Joy struck seven boundaries and Malek cracked eight fours. In reply, Nepal managed 144-8. Skipper Kritan Shrestha Duwal remained not out on 55 off 60 balls. Ramesh Bahadur Baniya (18) and Sunil Subedi (16) reached double figures, however Nepali batsmen failed to hit a single boundary. On Tuesday, Nepal, who had faced a 10-wicket defeat against Australia, will play against South Africa on Thursday.
