HETAUNDA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana said his party might recall two ministers representing the party in the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led coalition government. Expressing his dissatisfaction over the government performance, the leader said the party's image would be tarnished if it continued to stay in the non-performing government. Speaking with journalists in his hometown, Hetaunda of Makawanpur district, today, Thapa said, 'The Prime Minister has asked me to join the government in my leadership. I would like to thank him for the generosity.' 'But we will not join the government,' he announced, 'It has not performed satisfactorily. Instead, we may recall our two ministers.' He added that there would be no point in joining or continuing to be in the government as it would rule for around next two and half months only. The coalition government has Minister for Supplies Deepak Bohora and Minister for Land Reform and Management Bikram Pandey from the fourth largest force of the Parliament. They were sent to the government by the then RPP led by Pashupati Shamsher Rana before Thapa-led RPP-Nepal and the RPP announced the merger in November last year. It had been reported that the government was planning to include more leaders from the unified RPP to make a balance with its increased strength in the House. However, Thapa shared that he had already denied Dahal's offer to take part in the government.
