Adhikari, who was using the alias of Jiwan Bahadur Adhikari, was arrested by the Saudi police following a notice issued on June 6, 2016 by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police. Police said on November 01, 1998, Adhikari had killed Shiva Raj Thapa Suyal of his village with a sharp weapon that the former had carried, in a jungle, for having misbehaved with his wife.
