KATHMANDU: The American golfer of Nepali origin, Jaivir Pande finished second in the boys’ U-12 category of the US Kids Golf European Championship 2017 at the Glen Golf Club from May 30 to June 1. The Houstan-based Pande carded four-over 220 in the 54-hole event to finish nine strokes behind India’s Shubham Jaglan, who carded five-under 211 to win the trophy. Jay Brooks of the Florida was third at five-over 221. Pande began the campaign with one-over 73 before carding a two-under 70 in the second round and shot a five-over 77 on the final day. A total of 75 players took part in the event organised by US Kids Golf Foundation.
