Sydney, January 11:
An Australian hunter is offering ‘big spending’ adventurous travellers a chance to track down and kill six killer crocodiles at a government-sanctioned safari in Papua New Guinea, news reports said today.
For $180,000 each, Mick Pitman promised a chance to shoot a crocodile and play a bit part in a documentary being made on the adventures by an Australian film crew. “This project will go off like a packet of crackers,” Pitman said. He expe-cts any number of safaris now that the government in Port Mor-esby has given him a licence to kill crocodiles in areas of the South Pacific where dozens of villagers have lost their lives.
“The greenies who jump up and down o-ver this have to realise the economic and human safety aspects of this,” Pitman said.
