Lalitpur, July 10 Tribhuvan Army Club’s Ratnajit Tamang and Nabin Shrestha advanced to the men’s singles final of the Yonex Sunrise sixth Pushpa Lal Memorial National Open Badminton Tournament here today. In the semi-final matches, Tamang saw off Bishnu Katuwal of Nepal Police Club 21-8, 21-14, while Shrestha outplayed another NPC shuttler Dipesh Dhami 21-16, 7-21, 21-10. In quarter-finals, Tamang beat Jeevan Acharya of Perfect Fitness, Katwal defeated Sudeep Sedhai of Nepal APF Club, Shrestha saw off Sajan Krishna Tamarakar of APF and Dhami beat Praful Maharjan of TAC. In the women’s category, TAC’s Nangshal Devi Tamang defeated her teammate Anu Maya Rai 21-19, 21-19 and advanced to the final.
