NC calls emergency meeting to discuss floods

KATHMANDU: The ruling party Nepali Congress has called an emergency meeting on Sunday afternoon to discuss damages and losses caused by the monsoon rain triggered floods and landslides in different parts of the nation. Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called the meeting of the NC Central Executive Committee at 4:00 pm in Baluwatar to address the crisis. The meeting would also announce some programmes to help the victims.
