MAHOTTARI: Central Chairperson of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Upendra Yadav on Friday said their struggle would continue until the Madhes issues remained unaddressed. Addressing a programme organised today to welcome new entrants to his party in Shripur of Mahottari district, Yadav said his party's struggle would continue until and unless the proportional representation of the Madhesi community was ensured at all levels of the state. Though constitution amendment is inevitable to establish the identity of Madhesi people in the national charter, they had decided to go for election as part of their struggle for identity, Yadav noted in the programme. In a different note, he argued for the need of ensuring representation of Dalit at higher levels to institutionalise democracy in the country. On the occasion, around 500 cadres of other political parties including Nepali Congress former VDC Chairperson Mahendra Yadav that had quit their party, joined FSFN. Party Chairperson Yadav welcomed them at the programme.
