Solving the problem

Solving the problem

By Riju Regmi

Our writing will be clear, if our thinking is clear. We know this fact. However, we still think so much about how to write instead of writing to show how we think! We never get into the real problem, and always worry about the consequence, and that creates stress among us. Without even knowing the real problem, we dive into the solution for it. Even by knowing the real problem we tend to ignore it, and that certainly will not cure our real trouble. “My child does not drink milk”. This is what parents regard it as a problem, and worry about it. They tend to force the child and compel him to drink milk. But the parents never give a second thought as to why their child loves ice-cream, and hates milk when they are the same thing. Why does your child hate milk? The answer to this is the real problem that has to be worried about. Maybe he does not like the taste, or maybe he cannot cope with the calories biologically. Or there could be some other reasons. These are the problems that the parents fail to understand. Only, when these problems are understood, they can analyze and find the real solution. Because if they conclude saying the taste is what their child does not like, they can add flavor to it. Or they can go for other alternatives that provide the child nutrients as  milk. No matter how educated or literate we regard  ourselves to be, we all fall into the same category. We worry for the consequence, instead of thinking of the real problem behind it. Raining heavily is not a problem of course; the problem is the difficulty that you need to face if it rains. So, if you start worrying about the rainfall, you get nothing but stress. If you worry about regarding the real problem of your difficulty, you reach a certain conclusion.  The famous half glass theory can be explained here as, being half glass full is not our problem, but being half empty is our real problem. Life is full of such problems. The higher the dreams, the greater the problems are. Unless you pass through many problems you certainly won’t reach the peak. Mark the obstacles that Steve Jobs or Bill Gates passed through. Problems in your life are ladders for your upgrade. Remember every single series of annual examination that acted as your major problem then, and how it upgraded your standard. So, never fear problems and worry about the consequences of the problem. Think of the cause of the problem and then act for the solution.
