KATHMANDU: Police on Monday arrested seven persons, including Anil Limbu, 24, of Morang on the charge of kidnapping a man for ransom. According to police, they allegedly abducted Uddhav Kumar Magar, 23, of Khotang district and currently residing in Narayantar of Gokarneshwor Municipality-5, from the same area and held him captive at a Gairigaun-based hotel for ransom. Police have also seized a cheque worth Rs 500,000 issued in the name of Krishna Kumar Karki from them.
