KATHMANDU: A person died and another sustained injuries after the tractor they were travelling on fell below the road in Rolpa Municipality-7 of Rolpa district on Wednesday night, police said. The deceased has been identified as Sijan Budha (12) and injured as Amrita Budha (50), both the residents of Rolpa Municipality-9 in the district. According to police, the incident occurred when the tractor ( Na 5 Ta 6689) ran out of control and fell four metres below the road at Tama at 8:45 pm yesterday, injuring Budha duo. The injured were rushed to the District Hospital, Rolpa, however, Sijan Budha succumbed to injuries at 10:00 pm yesterday during the course of treatment. Amrita Budha has been undergoing treatment there, informed police. Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway while the search is on for the tractor driver who fled the incident site, said police.
