Love edifies, enriches lives

Life becomes dull and dry in the absence of love. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “Love is a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person.” In real love, there is a strong and constant feeling of edifying and enriching to someone whom we love and we do it out of affection rather than compulsion. Unconditional love is also called divine love that always seeks better and brighter future for others, not for oneself. In genuine love, there is giving instead of taking. In the Bible Gospel of John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son ...” Here also we see God has given his Son so that the entire humanity may have the life of abundance and eternity. Some people try to find the meaning of life in money, some in fame, some in education and some in power. But life becomes miserable if there is no one to love us as we are in a real sense. Love is the “circulatory system” in the concept of humanity. As soon as it stops working, survival of humanity is no longer possible. Then human society becomes chaotic, as the heart of flesh turns into the heart of stone where there is no place for a sense of love and humanity. But, if love becomes a motivating factor then teachers also feel excited to teach and find new strategies of teaching so that they can be an effective instrument in moulding the future of next generation to make this world a better place, love of children for their parents would come out of their heart which would always make them feel comfortable and to serve them considering as privilege, not a burden. When leaders lead the country loving people solely being motivated by love instead of grinding their own axe, then they would definitely find the way out to make the life of people better. Moreover, they have no time to entangle in an unhealthy politics pulling legs of one another. Their first and foremost agenda would be the better and bigger future for people. We should have love in our heart and show willingness to serve, to sacrifice for the sake of people who are in desperate need of our help and support to sustain and survive. There are many people in the society living an alienated life, having no experience of love from their near and dear ones. Though somehow they are living in the absence of love they don’t feel life interesting and exciting. I think life blossoms when it is saturated with life-giving lively water of genuine love.
