Joint training for UML, Maoist Centre lawmakers begins

KATHMANDU: A joint training for lawmakers of the CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre has begun at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwar today. The training is being conducted to impart insights to the lawmakers into the activities of the House that they have to consider. Likewise, the training is aimed at ensuring strong presence of the left alliance in the Parliament and uniformity in the parliamentary activities, as well as supporting the party unification bids. Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have reached the Parliament Building at New Baneshwar. Former speakers Subas Chandra Nembang and Onsari Gharti would provide training on parliamentary process while both the chairmen would address and impart training to the lawmakers of the left alliance. The lawmakers of the left alliance from both the House of Representatives and National Assembly were directed by the UML and Maoist Centre to appear for the training. The swearing-in ceremony of the lawmakers of the federal house is scheduled for Sunday.
