CHARIKOT: A person was killed while three others sustained injuries after a Bolero jeep veered off the road at 4:00 this morning at Khawa of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality-4 in Dolakha district.

Jeep driver Subas Tamang, of around 20 years of age from Jiri Municipality-9, died after the jeep knocked him down as he fell down from the vehicle.

The jeep (Ba 13 Cha 6196) was hauling paddy husk to Jiri Municipality-9 from Marbu of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality-4, according to the police.

Mangale Tamang (20), Dil Bahadur Tamang (52) of Jiri Municipality-9 and Karna Bahadur Tamang (55) of Gairimudri in Baiteshwor Rural Municipality were injured in the incident.
