KATHMANDU: LG Oil has been renamed GS Oil. The South Korean company manufactures 180 types of lubricants that are sold in 120 countries. The company has received ISO 14000, QS 9000 and TS 16949 for quality management and environment protection. It produces 6,000 barrels of lubricants and 6,000 tonnes of grease each year. Swastik Impex Pvt Ltd is the authorised dealer of LG oil in Nepal. A press release issued by SIPL states that the LG Oil has captured a good market share and is increasing it steadily.
