Rajbiraj, March 17:
Flights on the Kathmandu-Rajbiraj sector of the Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) have been closed for an indefinite period from today.
“Lack of passengers forced the closure of flights on the route,” said BK Gorkhali, manager of the Rajbiraj airport. Gorkhali said the RNAC business director, Raju Bahadur KC, directed closure of flights for an indefinite period. It is also informed that three workers including Gork-hali have been transferred to Biratnagar airport.
Meanwhile, Kausar Ali, the chairman of Rajbiraj municipality ward no 3, has stopped transfer of equipment and other goods from Rajbiraj to Biratnagar saying the work was being done in absence of the branch chief.
