NEW YORK: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has held different meetings with his counterparts from various countries at the UN Headquarters in New York on Tuesday (as per US time).

Minister Gyawali met with the UK Minister of State for Asia Pacific, Mark Field, Pakistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and Bulgarian Minister for Judicial Reform and Foreign Affairs, Ekaterina Zaharieva.

Matters of bilateral interest and concern were discussed during the meetings.

Also present at the meetings were Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, Spokesperson and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bharat Raj Poudel, and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal.

The representatives from various countries are in New York to participate in the 73rd United Nations General Assembly.
