Dahal leaves for Singapore

Kathmandu September 26 Former prime minister and Co-chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal left for Singapore today for his wife Sita’s health check-up. According to Dahal’s press adviser Bishnu Sapkota, his wife Sita, who suffers from hypertension and diabetes, will undergo a follow up health check-up. Singaporean doctors who had examined Sita on previous occasions had advised her to visit them for a follow up. Before leaving for Singapore,  Dahal met main opposition leader Sher Bahadur Deuba at his  residence in  Budhanilkantha today. According to aides of Dahal and Deuba, the two leaders discussed contemporary political issues. PM KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Co-chairperson of NCP (NCP), is currently in New York attending United Nations General Assembly. In the absence of both Co-chairpersons of the NCP (NCP), senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal will be the acting chair of the party.
