MELAMCHI: A person died when fire engulfed a house at Gunsa in Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-5 of Sindhupalchok district on Sunday midnight. The fire that broke out in the house of Jeet Bahadur Gole at around 1:00 am today killed his 12-year-old son Raju Gole, shared the rural municipality's ward chair, Kale Gole. Family sources said the fire claimed the life of Raju and wounded Jeet Bahadur. It has been reported that the physical property worth Rs 250,000 has been turned to cinders. The cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained, Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported.
