Library set up

SINDHULI: Bimeshowor Public Library has been established at Bhimeshwor VDC of Sindhuli District. Some 600 books have been collected by one-house-one-book programme for the uplift of the intellectual standard of the local community, chairman of the library Sharad Acharya said. — RSS

House gutted

NUWAKOT: The house of one Yashoda Chalise of Bitalab in Gerkhu VDC-5 was gutted in a fire on Monday. Property worth Rs 300,000 was destroyed. The Nepal Red Cross Society District Branch has provided necessary relief materials to the victim family. The cause of the fire is yet to be known. — RSS
