JAJARKOT:  As many as three persons have lost their lives while 15 others have sustained injuries when a van they were travelling on got into an accident at Gurans Rural Municipality of Dailekh district today morning. The deceased have been identified as Thir Bahadur Sunar, 57, of  Tatopani, Birendranagar Municipilaity-3 in Surkhet, Naam Bahadur Baduwal, 29, of Dailekh, currently residing in Madhuwan Municipality-6 of Bardiya district and his wife Kamala Baduwal, informed Om Prakash Kurmi, Assistant Sub-Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office. Meanwhile, the injured are Mangali Gurung and Mukesh Gurung of Birendranagar Municipality-8, Laxmi Yogi and Abisheshak Yogi of Dullu Municipality-10, Mohan Pariyar, Jhuma Pariyar, Chandra Pariyar and Bhim Pariyar of Birendranagar Municipality- 3, Devi Prasad Bhattarai of Subbakuna in Birendranagar-11 and Chandrakali Singauli of Dhuliyabeat, informed  chief at Dailekh District Police Office,  Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hari Bahadur Oli. Similarly, others injured have been identified as Karna Bahadur Bogati and Laxmi Bogati of Naubasta in Banke district, Laxmi Rawat of Chamundabrindasaini Municipality-4 and Dil Bhadur Katuwal of  Narayan  Municipality-4 added Oli. The search for the driver of the vehicle -- Naresh Shahi, 23, of Birendranagar Municipality, who has fled the scene -- is going on, added the police. The injured were receiving treatment at Kalagaun-based provincial hospital in Surkhet, according to Dailekh DPO. Earlier, a rescue mission had been carried out by a team of police personnel from Ranimatta Police Post which was led by Police Inspector Upendra Prasad Archarya. The Hiace van ( Bhe 1 Ja 1029) en route to Dailekh from Surkhet fell some 300 metres below the road at Mugra, Gurans-4 in the district. READ ALSO:
