Property looted
Bhaktapur: In yet another instance of robbery in the Valley, a group of about 10 unidentified persons looted property worth Rs 350,000 from the rented room of one Kamal Budha at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-14, Bhaktapur, early on Wednesday. “Keeping in mind the rise in the number of robbery cases in the Valley, we have deployed more police personnel to look into the cases. We have also deployed plainclothes police personnel in crime-prone areas,” Keshav Adhikari, Superintendent of Police at the Valley Crime Investigation Branch (VCIB), Hanumandhoka, said.
Flood havoc
BHAKTAPUR: Parts of Bhaktapur town, including Bhramhayanisthan, Hanumanteghat and Rammandir, Barahisthan have been inundated as rains led to the flooding of the Hanumante river on Tuesday night. The flood is receding. — RSS
