Mahottari: Six persons were injured while retaliating against armed dacoits at Dhirapur VDC today, while a child was injured when a bomb, left by the dacoits, went off.

Those injured while fighting the dacoits included Sunil Sahani, Bhola Shah, Bhola’s two sons Manoj and Saroj. Meanwhile, a child, Paltu Mandal of Dhirapur-1, was hurt when a bomb left by the dacoits exploded. Fifteen dacoits who claimed to be Maoists brandished guns and looted Rs 97,000, gold ornaments and a mobile set from Sunil’s house.
