I believe friendship is the most beautiful relationship in the world. Even God gave Adam a companion, Eve.
Life is a mixture of sorrow and happiness. And a person needs someone to share his feelings of joy and sorrow with. This someone is called a friend. Not only teenagers, even adults and old people need friends.
Being a teen, I think that without friends our ‘teens’ will not be as memorable or as colourful or as beautiful as it is with friends around us.
Friends become someone really important to us during this stage of our life. This is the time when we trust our friends as much as our parents, sometimes even more. We share things with our friends that we dare not tell our parents.
We share the same thoughts and our every feeling with our friends. That’s why I guess teens say that our friends understand us better than our parents.
This makes it clear how important friends are in a teenager’s life.
I know that friends can be miles apart physically, but not in their hearts. And if your best friend has gone far away, I am sure your mum is angry over the long phones calls and high bills.
Anyone can be your friend — young or old or same age. What is important
is that you understand each other’s feelings, and be able to love, care for, respect each other as well as give space.
Friends are a teen’s strength, helping one to choose right from wrong. It gives one hope that there’s someone who cares for you, someone who wants the best for you. — Prabin Maharjan, Class X, Gyan Shikha School
