International consolidating group to raise Dalit issues

No doubt, the development of the nation remains an unfulfilled dream unless and until the socially back trodden Dalits and underprivileged communities are able to have wide access on social, economic, political areas.
Until the government led issues on poverty elimination, securities of human rights, cherished access to Dalit communities in politics been fulfilled the issues of good governance, norms and values of democracy becomes indistinct.
The international community, donor organisations and international non-governmental organisations have urged the government to abolish the still existing practices of untouchability and to bring the Dalits to the main stream who have been exploited for centuries in social, economic issues, and appreciate their human rights.
In this context, a meeting of steering committees of International and consolidating group is going to be held against all forms of discrimination on May 22-26 in Brussels, Belgium.
The meet is going to address all forms of discrimination, strong functioning of working-plan of the world convention against ethnical discrimination, make appreciate humanity for the peoples of extreme backward nations who are suffering from discriminations, eliminating poverty and their reach in political activities of their countries.
The programme also intends to seek out international agreement to support and put international pressure to formulate strategies to fight against any such discriminatins which have hindered the development.
In the same occasion they are having meeting with committees of parliament, human rights groups and support of the European union to support the concerned nations for aforementioned problems.
President of Jana Utthan Pratisthan (JUP) DB Biswakarma is going to represent Nepal’s 4.5 million Dalits as a delegate member of the steering committee of Nepal along with Jeet Gurung, advisor of Danish International Development Agency/Hugo.
