Maoists ready for ‘urban revolution’

The seventh division commander of the Maoists’ people army, Prajwal, today said the rebel army was ready to face any kind of circumstances.

Talking to this daily at the temporary camp of the Lokesh Memorial Brigade at Sunpal of Kailali, he said: “We are trying to end the autocratic monarchy peacefully. If needed, we are ready for an urban revolution, too.” He said that three brigades of the seventh division were based in different districts in temporary camps. Any kind of monarchy is not acceptable to the Maoists, he said.
