KATHMANDU: A task force formed to analyse the repercussions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and its liabilities on Nepal once it becomes a signatory, submitted its report to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday. The task force recommended that necessary legal and institutional framework be developed before adopting the international accord. Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Madhav Poudel, led the task force. — HNS

Rs 50,000 looted

KATHMANDU: Two unidentified persons on Thursday looted Rs 50,000 from Junga Bahadur Pun, 27, who recently arrived in Kathmandu from Saudi Arabia. Pun fell unconscious after drinking a glass of juice given to him by the two persons. A resident of Myagdi district, Pun was looted from Sundhara at around 4 pm. Police are investigating the case and launching a manhunt to nab the culprits. — HNS
