Itahari: A person was arrested on the charge of committing marital rape and proceedings initiated against him, judge in the Sunsari district court, Lila Prasad Gautam, said.

Radha Budhathoki had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office Itahari on Wednesday, Accusing her husband, Rupendra Budhathoki, of Itahari-4, of raping her under the influence of alcohol on last Saturday, police said.
