Kathmandu, February 23:
With an aim to fight against trafficking and raise awareness, the Global March Against Child Labour, Bachpan Bachao Andolan and their partner organisations in India, Nepal and Bangladesh are set to organise four-week-long march along the Indo-Nepal-Bangladesh border on February 25.
The march titled ‘South Asian March Against Child Trafficking’ will kick off from Kolkata and ‘100 core marchers’ will participate in the march which will be joined by local people passing through the by-lanes of cities, towns, villages and remote countryside of the Indo-Nepal-Bangla border, said Gauri Pradhan, president of Child Workers’ Concerned Centre in Nepal at a press meet organised here today.
