RAJBIRAJ: Activists of the Madhesi Tigers (MT) abducted Nepal Army amaldar Som Bahadur Thapa Magar from Bhagani Maleth of Saptari on Friday. Thapa was on his way to his in-laws’ house at Fattehpur in Saptari when he was abducted. — HNS

12 nabbed with hemp

Rajbiraj: Police arrested 12 persons along with 255 kg of hemp from Wamangamakatti VDC in Saptari on Friday night. A patrolling police team recovered 150 kg of hemp from the house of Dev Ram Yadav and 105 kg of hemp from the houses of Kamal Yadav, Parameshwor Yadav and Surya Narayan Yadav, police said. — HNS
