Rajbiraj, May 28:
A police team on a mission to rescue an abductee clashed with cadres of the Madhesi Tigers in Bhardaha today.
A clash ensued at 4:00 pm after the Tigers opened fire on police, said SP at the district police office Saptari Subhash Chandra Chaudhary. Saptari-1 area in-charge of the Tigers, Navin, said three cadres, including himself, were injured in the incident. He identified the other cadres injured as Rahul and Abdul.
The team had gone to Bhardaha to rescue a leader of the Janashakti Party (Sunsari), Kedar Bista.
