Siraha, July 19:

Jwala Singh-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha released two abducteees last night. Teacher Govinda Kumar Karki of Lahan-5 and civilian Bed Prasad Sapkota of Lahan-6 were abducted from Targena of Govinda VDC on Sunday. The duo were released in the presence of chairperson of Nepal Rishikul Kalyan Sadaya Samiti Ram Swaroop Sadaya at 8 pm, JTMM-J district in-charge Tuphan Singh Bidrohi said.

JTMM-J cadres had abducted them along with VDC secretary Ramhari Pokhrel near Mutani River of Targena Govindapur while the trio were returning from the VDC office.

However, JTMM-J cadres killed secretary Pokhrel yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, some 20 armed men of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Visfot Singh led by Ram Chandra Mukhiya abducted a 60-year-old Ras Lal Kamati of Humannagar Prama-1 and his nephew from his house last night. However, his nephew managed to escape.
