Kathmandu, October 5:

‘Celebrating Womanhood Navadevi Awards 2007’ will be provided to 14 persons on the first day of Navaratri on October 12. The Creative Statements will award 12 exemplary women representing diverse sectors of life throughout the country and two men for bringing issues of women to the limelight.

The nine awards are categorised as Annapurna, Bhagwati, Bhawani, Durga, Karuna, Laxmi, Mahamaya, Saraswati and Shakti. A special award will be provided to an outstanding woman and two awards will be presented to men.
