Lalitpur, December 15:

Little Angels’ (LA) School won both the girls and boys’ basketball championships at the 14th Gyan Eicher Gyan Carnival, organised by Gyanodaya Bal Batika School, today.

In the boys’ final, LA beat LRI 59-36, while the LA girls’ team defeated Rato Bangala 28-18. Bishal Tamang of LRI and Arati Tulachan of LA were named the Most Valuable Players. Gyan Kunja took home the boys’ volleyball title with a 3-2 win over Anal Jyoti, while Bright Future beat LA 3-2 in the girls’ final. Suraj Raj Upreti of Graded English Model School (GEMS) and Prabisa Rai of Anal Jyoti were declared the MVPs.

In boys’ football final, hosts Gyanodaya defeated Trungram International Academy (TIA) 3-2. Wilson Serchan struck twice and Rupak Wasti netted one for Gyanodaya. Rajiv Sunuwar scored both the goals for TIA.
