New CEAN president

KATHMANDU: Executive Committee of Cambridge Education Association in Nepal (CEAN) recently elected Sudhir Kumar Jha of Chelsea International Academy as its new president and Rajesh Acharya of Kings College as its vice-president, a press release issued by the CEAN said on Sunday. The committee also elected Nabin Shrestha of AJ Wild Institute and Babita Labh Kayastha of Kathmandu Valley School as general secretary and treasurer respectively along with other six executive members. — HNS

NCRS office-bearers

KATHMANDU: General assembly of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) Kathmandu chapter on Sunday elected a 15-member new executive committee headed by Bimal Kumar Hoda. The new executive committee includes vice-chairman Bhagawan Shrestha, secretary Arun Ranjit, treasurer Ajaya Singh Suwal and joint secretary Suresh Prajapati. Dr Sudip Shrestha, Gaya Prasad Shrestha, Yadav Kharel, Rajendra Prasad Neupane, Mahendra Raj Shrestha, Dandas Shrestha, among others are the committee members. — HNS
