Nepal promoted at Bangalore, Stuttgart

Kathmandu, January 20:
Nepal participated in TTF 2008, India’s largest Travel and Tourism Fair, in Banglore India on January 12-14. The fair saw more than 12,000 visitors except 800 travel trade entrepreneurs, according to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
Eight travel companies from Nepal took part in the fair. NTB achieved ‘The Best Group Participation Award’. The pilgrimage packages of Muktinath, Pashupatiunath and Mt Kailash and other soft adventure, leisure, and honeymoon offers in Nepal were major attractions for the visitors.
I M Vittala Murthy, secretary-Kannada and Culture Information and Tourism Department of Karnataka, Dr C Somasekhara, director tourism of Karnataka, Prachanda Man Shrestha, CEO- NTB were present during the inaugural of the fair, where Shrestha highlighted the unique features of Nepali tourism.
CMT Fair
KATHMANDU: NTB jointly with Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and private tourism entrepreneurs promoted Nepal in the Caravan Motor Tourism (CMT) Fair at Stuttgart, Germany on January 12-20. To project the myriad image of Nepal, Nepal’s participation was foc-used on ‘Unleash Your-self-Naturally Nepal-O-nce is not enough’. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Goreto Samudayik Bikas Ken-dra is organising Dail-atung-Ranighat Festival on January 24-26. It is organised — in association with NTB — to popularise and restore the lost glory of Rani Mahal, an ancient palace and other tourist spots in Palpa. — HNS
