Adhikari remembered

LALITPUR: Acting general secretary of the CPN-UML, Amrit Kumar Bohara, on Friday called upon all political parties to practice consensus politics and to give up hypocrisy.

He said this at a tea reception organised by Manamohan Memorial Foundation to mark the ninth death anniversary of former PM Manmohan Adhikari.“People want all parties to work together. There is no way but to seek consensus as they have not given clear majority to any party in the CA polls,” Bohara said. — RSS

Rs 3.4m collected

MADHYAPUR THIMI: Donation worth Rs 3.4 million which includes cash, land and goods was collected during a Gyam Mahayagya, which was organised to collect funds for the renovation of Gupteshwor Mahadev temple located at the Y-junction of Sirutar, Balkot and Tikathali. The Mahayagya concluded on Thursday. The income-expenditure report of the mahayagya will be made public and the renovation work would begin soon, an organiser said. — RSS
