Nepali dies in Qatar

SANKHUWASABHA: A Nepali worker was found dead in Qatar eight days ago. The deceased was identified as Tanka Prasad Bhatt of Syabun VDC. Bhawani Prasad Bhatt, father of the dead, said the cause of the death was not known. Bhawani has urged the government to help bring the the body of his son to Nepal. — HNS

Youth stabbed

BARA: An unidentified gang on Friday stabbed to death 30-year-old Harendra Majhi near the Jamudi bridge at Belwa of Abhav VDC in Bara district, the police said, adding that the body has been taken to Kalaiya hospital for post-mortem. — HNS
