Kathmandu, July 24:

The Lalitpur District Administration Office Lalitpur sent an official letter through the Home Ministry to the President of Nepal Dr Ram Baran Yadav, to observe the traditional Bhoto Jatra of Rato Machchhindranath in Laitpur.

An official letter has been sent to President Dr Yadav to observe Bhoto (a jewel-studded vest), which will be shown in Jwalakhel on Sunday, according to Assistant Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, Murari Sharma. The observation of Bhoto Jatra is the first public cultural programme to be attended by newly elected President.
