Kumari case verdict

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Monday deferred the verdict on a case regarding the rights of Kumaris by 14 days. Demanding that rights of Kumaris be safeguarded, advocate Pundevi Maharjan had filed a writ petition three years ago. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The Patan Appellate Court on Sunday ordered Jyoti Prabha Shahi, administrative chief of Eurasia Reiyukai, to clarify why Ram Krishna Karmacharya, national chief adviser to Reiyukai Nepal, was dismissed. The court asked Shahi to furnish written reply in 15 days. — HNS
