The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Thursday directed the Ministry of Industry to roll back its decision a few months ago to sell limestone to the private sector. The ministry approved the decision a few months ago to sell the limestone available in the Udayapur Lime Stone Mineral Area. The CIAA stated the ministry’s decision taken without the advice of experts violated parliamentary norms. The CIAA on Thursday wrote to the ministry to seek a panel’s opinion on the issue. — HNS
