KATHMANDU: To make the New Year’s Eve even more rocking and memorable, San Miguel Party Zone had organised various parties around the town. ‘Party Zone New Year Eve Fiestaz’ took place at six venues. Enthusiastic party goers packed every venue to usher in the brand new year with music and dance. Funky Buddha, Thamel had DJ Sishir, DJ Zion and DJ Nishan playing the latest hits for the crowd outdoors, while indoors DJ Raj and DJ Mikle entertained all.

Full Moon restaurant, Thamel saw a huge turn up for the live music by jazz band Quatret. The gig was followed by retro music of 70’s and 80’s.

The most crowded of all venues, Fire Club saw DJ Pravin and DJ Ravi making all groove to their mixes. While all places boasted of commercial hits Electric Pagoda, Saatghumti entertained its guests with electronic mixes. Similarly the bash at Eshani Club had DJ Bikash from Delhi, live performance by Sahi Rawal and the B Three band and exotic dance performance for the guests.

The last venue, Pop In at Lazimpat had DJ Sishir mixing electro and house music at the terrace and DJ Sijan and DJ Mission made all dance to their commercial music at the lounge.
