BHAIRAHAWA: A youth was killed while nine others were injured when a bus met with an accident in Ekala VDC on Friday night. The bus was carrying a marriage procession from Rupandehi's Sadi VDC. The youth, who died on the spot has yet to be identified, the police said. The injured are undergoing treatment in Bhairahawa based medical college. Meanwhile, 11 persons were injured in another incident when a truck met with an accident in Hwapkhola on Saturday. The truck was heading towards Jugar's Nerpa Bazaar from Budhagaon of western Rolpa. Seven out of the 11 injured are children and 4 are reported to be in a critical condition, the police said. The injured were taken to Dang for treatment. The truck had plunged 100 m down the road after its brakes failed to function.
